Learning Observed
|
Ricky, Kavish and William chose to have a go at an iExplore provocation that Ms Wilkes had set out before school. She had printed a map where each country was filled in with its map. The learners had to identify as many countries as they can by the flag.
William, Kavish and Ricky had a collaborative learning discussion and pooled their knowledge before asking for more help from a Learning Coach. They were then redirected to the World Map which also shows flags. From here they continued their discussion, particularly about how they could connect the name, flag and location on the map. After a short time, other learners became curious about what they were doing and the boys were able to share what they’d discussed and learned.
